An Ayurvedic consultation is the initial step in seeking guidance on health and wellness through the ancient Indian system of Ayurveda. It involves a detailed talk by a trained Ayurvedic practitioner to understand your unique body-mind constitution (Prakriti), current imbalances (Vikriti), and overall concerns. Here's what generally happens during a consultation In-depth discussion: The practitioner will ask about your health history, current symptoms, diet, daily routine, lifestyle, emotional well-being, stress levels, and relationships to get a complete picture of your health. Energetic Assessment: This often includes traditional methods like pulse diagnosis (Nadi Pariksha), where the practitioner analyzes the energetic and subtle qualities of your energy lines in the body called nadis to identify imbalances. Tongue Pariksha- The practitioner may also look at your tongue. Based on the assessment, the practitioner will create a tailored plan to restore balance and promote holistic healing. This plan may include: Dietary adjustments: Specific foods to favor or avoid based on your dosha and imbalances. Lifestyle modifications: Recommendations for daily routines (Dinacharya), exercise, sleep patterns, and stress management techniques. Herbal remedies: Suggesting Ayurvedic herbs and formulations to address specific imbalances and support various bodily systems. Therapies and practices: Recommendations for practices like yoga, meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises), and potentially Ayurvedic body treatments or detoxification programs like Panchakarma. The goal of an Ayurvedic consultation is to empower you with knowledge and tools to take charge of your well-being, guiding you towards lasting health and vitality by addressing the root causes of imbalances rather than just managing symptoms PREPAID cost is $75.
